April's Mom Approved Must-Haves

I’m always looking for ways to make life easier for parents. We’ve got a lot on our plates as it is and sometimes all it takes is just one product or idea to instantly make your life better! So for all my fellow mamas out there, here's a round up of my current April favorites to make mom life that much easier.

My kids grow like weeds! If you’ve got children I’m sure you agree that their sizes and styles are always changing. You want to keep their wardrobes updated and appropriate for the changing seasons, but who’s got the time and all that extra money to do it?

Well, this is a great way to update their unique style, but keep it practical too. Do your shopping online! You don’t even have to get dressed or leave the house! One of my favorite places to shop for the kids is at LittleTrendsetter.com. This is an online hub for all things kids fashion and it was created by 4 moms.

You’ll find creative couture in both everyday wear and more dressy options. There’s also a great selection of super cute and unique accessories! You can go contemporary or more traditional in style and there’s also special occasion dresses for flower girls, photo shoots, first communions and baptisms that are truly unique.

They also have a dedicated section on LittleTrendsetter.com just for moms so you can pick up an item or 2 while dressing your little one. PLUS have a 10% off your order discount offer! Use only with promo code: STYLE.

The Honest Company

Now it's that time of the year where we get the whole family ready to enjoy more time together outside! With the warmer spring and summer weather, you’ll want to make sure you and the fam prep and protect your skin.

I like to stock up my bathroom and my beach bags with products from The Honest Company! That’s because I can do all my shopping at Honest.com and there’s a wide range of items that are safe and effective for the whole family - even the little ones!

Summer means more time out in the sun so don’t forget to lather up with sunscreen. The Honest Company’s new mineral SPF 50 non-nano zinc oxide sunscreen is easy to spread, less-whitening and has a non-greasy, lightweight feel. You can rest assured because the new sunscreen has the Skin Cancer Foundation Seal and it’s pediatrically, clinically and dermatologically tested.

My go-to's before and after the beach are The Honest Company’s beneficial, botanically infused new range of essentials for bath & body. There is a bubble bath, shampoo + body wash, conditioner and body lotion. They come in new scents including Sweet Orange Vanilla, Dreamy Lavender, Apricot Kiss and there’s also a Fragrance free lotion. I love that the shampoo and conditioner bottles are bigger and have an easier pump!

Those are just a few of my favorites, but you can head to Honest.comto see all of the amazing products they offer and stock up on these summer time essentials.

Fellowes

No matter the season, it seems like I’m always in the middle of spring cleaning with a family of 4. Here’s a tip for something I think we all deal with....I'm talking about paperwork, mail and random paper piles all over the house. They drive me bonkers!

It's actually possible to get this under control by working decluttering into our busy schedules. The best tool to help you stay on top of paper clutter is a really great paper shredder. I love my Fellowes Powershred 64Cb Cross-Cut shredder. It's a quick way to reduce paper clutter and it does it safely. It uses SafeSense Technology that stops shredding when hands touch the paper opening, keeping curious little ones safe. I used to have some serious paper clutter all over the place, but I don’t want to be sitting around shredding all day long. The 64Cb can shred 10 sheets at once and comes equipped with Jam Blocker technology to block jams before they start so it will totally help all you shred personal paper files and mail quickly. Less time spent on clutter means more time with the family! You can pick one of these up at Staples or Staples.com.
